A few weeks back I was talking to Sigi Liang, about her skills with the English language. I did not realize that English was considered the "Universal Language." For that reason, all Chinese children are required to learn English.

Wow! And yet, many people are hoping to teach their children Mandarin so that they can communicate with the world's largest population!
